Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will host VOICES FOR HOPE: A Musical Benefit for the Carl Lee Family on its Fireside Stage on Monday evening, July 29th.

The Carl Lee Family is very special to the entire Twin Cities' artistic community. Carl is the Director of Marketing & Theatrical Programming for the Hennepin Theatre Trust. His wife Linda Talcott-Lee has been a lead dancer on Broadway and a featured performer in Chanhassen shows including West Side Storyand Swing. She is also a sought-after teacher and choreographer. They have two teenage daughters. After many years of health challenges, Carl has taken seriously ill in past weeks. The weeks of hospitalization with no end in sight continue to take a toll on the entire Lee Family.

Local musical theatre performer, Tony Vierling, (now appearing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at CDT) is compiling the program, featuring some of the Twin Cities' finest musical talent. This very special variety musical revue is hosted by Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and emceed by artists, Tod Petersen and Erin Schwab. Stated Vierling, "We love this dear theatre family and want to show our support. We hope people will bring their friends and family to celebrate life and this wonderful theatre community we are part of."

The live musical event will be performed in two acts by 20-plus outstanding performers including: Michael Gruber, Molly Sue McDonald, Janis Hardy, Christina Baldwin, Dieter Bierbrauer, Janet Hayes Trow, Ann Michels, Ben Bakken, Jared Oxborough, George Maurer, Jen Burleigh-Bentz, Tommy Bentz, Michelle Carter, Jay Albright, Angie Timberman, Keri Rodau, Maria Stukey, Matt Riehle, Jodi Carmeli, Emily Herringshaw, Erin Schwab, Tod Petersen, Andrew Cooke, Mindy Eschedor, Denise Prosek and more.

A silent auction will also be a major part of this benefit event. It runs from 6 p.m. - 7:20 p.m.

Silent auction items include: tickets to Twin Cities' theatre stages, restaurant certificates,

signed bottles of 2 Gingers Whiskey, sports memorabilia, Bridgeman's Ice Cream for a year packages, elite services including: professional music and dance lessons, housecleaning, massage & spa packages, and much more!!!
