Broadway and Hollywood superstar Neil Patrick Harris recently expressed his deep desire to appear on the new season of hit FX horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY, subtitled FREAK SHOW, and the series's mastermind and co-creator Ryan Murphy has now apparently taken him up on the offer.

In the interview, Harris related that his admiration for the previous seasons in the series inspired him to pen a letter and send it to Murphy earlier this year, begging for a role on the series.

"I wrote a letter to Ryan, asking if I could be in it. And he didn't respond," Harris said.

Well, now, via social media, Murphy has responded!

Murphy took to Twitter to relate, "@ActuallyNPH of course you can be on Freak Show! I have a role I think you'd love."

Of note, Harris and Murphy have previously collaborated on the FOX musical dramedy series GLEE, where Harris received a 2010 Emmy Award for his guest-starring role.
