Direct from Houston, Texas, L. RoBert Westeen presents, at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, his new one-man show, Cocaine and Ethel Merman: the New Homo Guide.

This show is a humorous and, at times, touching romp through the life of a gay man who was lucky enough to spend an evening with a cocaine-addicted Ethel Merman female impersonator and lived to tell about it. From his earliest memories in kindergarten to the one moment that literally changed his life, Westeen takes you down the rabbit hole for a study in this new generation of gay man and how he survived to come out the other side. Cocaine and Ethel Merman received a Best Playwright of Houston Nomination in 2012 by the Houston Press for the Houston Theater Awards.

Tickets: $12 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. Single tickets available for advance purchase are now on individual show pages. Advance sales stop at 10 a.m. for shows starting before 5:30 p.m. Shows starting later than 5:30 p.m. go off sale at 2:30 p.m. that day.
