Bloomington Civic Theatre is proud to present Gypsy at the Schneider Theatre, starring Dora Dolphin as Baby June. Gypsy is directed by Zach Curtis, choreographed by Shannon Roberg, and musically directed by Anita Ruth. The show will run April 25-May 25, 2014.

Set in the 1920s when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born, Gypsy is a classic showbiz musical. Loosely based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee,Gypsy tells the story of Mama Rose, the ultimate stage mother, and how her daughter Louise, a child Vaudeville actor, became the famous burlesque stripper. Hear legendary music
and lyrics by Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim, including "Let Me Entertain You" and "Everything's Coming Up Roses."

In addition to Dora Dolphin, the cast also features Sally Ann Wright (Rose), Kristen Husby (Louise), Katherine Tieben-Holt (June), Paul Reyburn (Herbie), Martino Mayotte (Tulsa), Seth Gabriel (L.A.), Kyle Szarzinski (Yonkers), Tom Benson (Angie), Emma Shine (Young Louise), Jessie Ladig (Tessie Tura), Emily Jansen (Mazeppa), Megan Love Warner (Electra), Christy Nix (Agnes, etc), Kaela Bader (Gail, etc), Angela Steele (Dolores, etc), Holli Richgels (Marjorie Mae, etc), Tony Wallin (Uncle Jocko, Kringelein, etc), and Dale Pfeilsticker (Pop, Goldstone, etc).
